Alina works with pack Llama to end stalemate and save players from extra innings.
The game was a long test of endurance for both teams. The long and short is that both pitchers were perfect until the bottom of the 7th inning. Alina worked her way aboard with a bunt, and with the help of her team she worked her way over to 3rd with only one out. Pac-Llama came up to drive in the winning run.
The greatest kickball game ever occurred in front of a shimmering Seattle skyline on Tuesday, June 14. As the Lebowski's took the field their opponents, Simply Llama, prepared themselves for battle ("Llama, LLama, LLAma,, LLAMa, LLAMA!"). The conditions were dangerous, the sun was blinding, and the defense was set. Despite being shorthanded the Llamas kept the game tied at 2 - 2 through 6 innings. Tied until our POTG stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the 7th inning. The Lebowski's had forced themselves upon all three bases, but with two outs there was no way to predict what would unfold. Shane Carroll stepped up under all the pressure a kickball game (and his comerads) can muster. The first pitch spun into the earth below infusing itself with Cascade park before rolling up to the plate to be sent into the troposphere. The ball fell just in front of the left field defender and Shane snagged the most important RKI of his Underdog career. Congrats to both teams and especially Shane!
This weeks feature match stared Credit Recovery and The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. This Kickball bout was neck and neck through the first five innings. That was until Erick pushed a ball deep into right feild and husteled his way around the base path for a solo inside the park homerun. The momentum from that blast spurred the Lebowski's to bring one more run across the plate. Those runs sealed a Lebowski victory of 4 - 2 over the disapointed Creditors.
