Indeed it was a Cinderella Story as it came down to the sixth and eighth seeds making it all the way to the championship game. The eighth seeded Booty Benders with Sand in out Crack fought through two higher seeded teams, including the top seeded Strikers to make it to the championship round. It was there where they ran into a team of destiny in Eric's Spike Break. Both teams finished near the bottom of the standings in the regular season, however they both showed the heart to make it to the championship. In the end, Eric's Spike Break was able to fend off the Booty Benders 2-1 and take the title.
