This weeks spotlight goes to Molly Chen from John Serves First. She continuously brings her all to the games and has incredible hustle. This season Molly has grown tremendously as a player and has sharpened in her skills. Always on the balls of her feet, Molly is ready to receive, pass, and spike the ball. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed- Congrats on being player of the week!
If you’ve played at first Baptist before you’re probably familiar with the basketball hoops lining the gym walls. In last nights game, Prithvi from John Serves First managed to swish the volleyball through one of the baskets; A fast spike fell short in front of him and he used his foot to rebound the ball... but after ricocheting off his foot it flew straight through the basketball nets, Crazy! I think that this feat deserves special celebration because Prithvi is either defying all odds with extreme luck... OR is secretly Cristiano Ronaldo...
