The Loft (aka Goat Rodeo) have been searching for that first elusive league title for years.
Another shot at it against a familiar foe set the stage for Goat Rodeo Lore.
A tight game throughout with several lead changes, and it was a little lady with a big presence that carried them to victory. Garin stepped up in the bottom of the 7th and delivered the nail in the coffin kick, scoring the winning run, and sparking a celebration that led to many Pickleback shots at the sponsor bar to end the evening.
They can finally rid themselves of the saying "Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Bride"
Garin played way above her small stature and delivered the winning kick in the bottom of the 7th to bring the championship hardware to the Loft for the first time.
With steady play on defense and a big clutch kick on offense, Garin is our Player of the Week!
Ryan lead the charge for the Loft this week getting a hit in every at bat and scoring 3 runs. His defensive efforts also helped his pitcher sustain a 6 run lead. Good job Ryan on this weeks MVP.
