Completely Off Base took down regular season juggernaut Recess Rookies 6-1 to successfully defend their Starbucks League Title. Will they go for the 3-peat?
In both the semifinal and championship game, C.O.B. jumped on their opponent in the first two innings then played stingy defense to hold on.
With only eight players, capt Jeremy Lenz fuzed the available talent together to bring back the league hardware. Congrats!
After two grueling playoff matches of pitching, Eric displayed courage, sportsmanship, and humbleness in leading his team to a successful defence of their Starbuck Kickball League Title.
Switching between his two pitches (off-speed & changeup) he dazzled his opponents with his mediocre speed and lack of spin.
One opponent was quoted saying, "It was just TOO nice of a pitch to kick"...

Despite acquiring the nickname 'Oscar the Grouchy Catcher', Holly Heart was a true terror on offense. Holly was the catalyst for her team, going 4-for-4, & being very aggressive w/ lightning speed on the basepaths, she is our Player of the Week!
It was a tough day for Jackie Callahan. Jackie sustained an injury in the first game of a double header but made a strong impact nonetheless. Jackie's great defense and timely hitting helped Completely Off Base to a win and a tie in two league games on Monday night.
