Moustache Riders jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first. Slowly but surely the Entercommies, determined to complete their transformation from league doormat to undefeated league champ, chipped away at the lead, until they started their last rally in the bottom of the seventh.
Down by two, the Entercommies loaded the bases with no outs. And two sacrifice flyballs brought home the needed runs to give the Entercommies the hardware they'd been seeking...
Boone led his Entercommies to their first league championship, with some great pitching, a couple stellar defensive plays including a fingertip catch, and a solo homerun.
Adrienne put just a little extra oomph into this one, with her team ahead in the bottom of the 5th inning, Adrienne kicked a long ball to deep right field, the ball was kicked so deep that she was able to round the bases for a home run. Congratulations Adrienne!
