Kickolas Cage overcame great odds with a Cinderella run to the Finals.
As the #5 seed, they proceeded to knock off the # 4, 3, & 1 seeds on their way to their first league title.
Fueled by stingy defense and the clutch kicking of POTW Lara Jones, the Cage came out victorious!
Lara exhibited a great attitude the entire playoffs and topped it with sweet kickball play.
From the catcher position she sprang out with cat-like reflexes on every bunt and play at home.
She kept opponent bunters on the edge with deft deliveries to first base all game.
On offense she stymied the defense mixing up her bunts and kicks while displaying a high level of placement control.
Great playoff series Lara!
