Lauren "LC" Clark deserved player of the week for her stellar play. She contributed both in the field and the plate. LC reached base mutiple times, scoring a couple times. Her defense was just as spectacular as Lauren made a nice catch in the oufield. LC probably had the play of the night on her great slide into second base.
This weeks player of the week goes to April G for solid defense and deep kicks. Bunting was never even an option when April stepped to the plate, April was all about bombing it deep into the outfield, and was very successful as she knocked runs and rounded the bases. April also made great catches on bullets sent her way astonishing all who were present. April stole plenty of base kicks, and knocked valuable runs to get her team off to a 1 and 0 start. Great job April!
