The most fun game of shamrock soccer in underdog history was officially played last Sunday. What was originally supposed to be a playoff game between Crush and Indy #1, was forfeited when only one person from Indy #1 showed up. What resulted was a pickup game of mad-skills, laugh-til-you-puke short sided soccer, comprised of players from !Spaztik!, USL, Crush, Bush's Magic Jesus Ninja's, Indy #1, and LOOK AT MY SHORTS!.
Sylvia Perek, is definitely this week's POTW, not only for showing up in the pouring rain when no one else on her team did, but mainly for sticking around and making something happen anyway.
In their first game as a team, there were several strong performances for Indy #1. Jeff led the way in a 5-2 victory over a good Indy #2 side with his play all over the field.
