The night before Halloween provides for some strange events. Shake and Bake, struggling in the standings, looked to face the powerhouse league-leading team, The Pickup Artists. Dressed from head to toe in Halloween costumes, Shake and Bake raised up to upset the unbeaten Pickup Artists team in their first of two games. There were several players worthy of Player of the Week status from this costumed bunch:
- Ashley, who posted her personal-best score of 105, who also managed to have her score count for her team's score for the first time ever;
- Tara, who also bowled a personal-best 139;
-Jessica, who bowled four strikes in a row for the first time ever.
But it was Warren King, who's league-high 198, led Shake and Bake to their stunning upset. Congrats on a true team effort!
In their second week out of the gate, Shake and Bake banged out the prestigious Big Turkey in their second game. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to bring home a win, but led by Warren, they certainly led the week in energy and spirit!
