Freeballers ended the season 8 and 0 and was just to tough to beat with there high powered offense that routinely put up Big umbers. With a season scoring average of 45 points they rolled the table and left the field with the Champ Shirts. In the final game they went up against Wilfork on the First Date, and got out to an early start and Wilfork couldn't recover. With a 39 to 13 final, Freeballers fell short of their season average, but finished their perfect season in style. Great season Freeballers!
For the final week of the season we are giving the receiving core of Freeballers honors as Players of the Week. Week after week this squad comes up with big catches and help make their QB look good every game. They reel in all the tough catch, and helped put up big numbers all season. Great job core, much needed applause for your weekly contributions.
Freeballers are honored this week for their usual solid play week after week. With solid play Tuesday they are the team to beat this season, and are going to be tough contenders come playoff time. With contributions by all on the team in their decisive win, they are this weeks Team of the Week!
In a tight game that went down to the wire it was the key play of DJ from Freeballers who made the difference on defense. With a 38 to 33 final, DJ's game changing pick 6 was enough to help his squad get a big win. DJ was an all around pest on defense creating fits for the opponent and with his performance is this weeks player of the week!
