The Awkward Palm Trees came into the playoffs as the underdogs and in true Underdog fashion, they beat the odds and took down the number one seeded, Bumpin Uglies for the championship win.
All season long, the Awkward Palm Trees had to battle, but doing so enabled them to increase their team chemistry and their close knit bond. They played hard for one another and never got down on themselves. With the encouragements to build each other up, the Awkward Palm Trees became the hidden gems tucked away with the third seed in the playoffs.
