Hookers and Lads were able to capture their first Underdog Sports Leagues Championship on the strength of a stellar defensive performance. Leading the way on offense and defense was Justin Hartley. Justin carried his team on his back by scoring two touchdowns and also making a key interception that turned the game in Hookers and Lads favor.
Needing a win in order to move on to the next round, one player stepped up her game in order to assure Hookers and Lads a spot in the championship round. Alyssa Erickson had two touchdowns, including the game winner in a narrow 18-13 victory over Crosswired.
