Freeballers had yet another great season but only going 3-3 in the regular season. But for a veteran team like this one, they weren't worried a bit come playoff time. But at the same time they knew they had to overcome some obstacles that they weren't able to in the regular season.
In the first round of the playoffs, Freeballers went head to head against Bosworth Buddies, who they lost to in the first game of the regular season. But like any championship caliber team, Freeballers found a way to overcome their previous failures. They did that in a big way beating them 35-12
The Championship game was thought to be a tough one. Weeden My Brownies had the Freeballers number all season long, going 2-0 in the regular season. But when facing adversity, Freeballers play at their best. They took control of the game early with a quick score and a early interception, sucking the life right out of their opponents. Freeballers receivers were too quick, too athletic and their QB was throwing dimes all night. Freeballers won the championship and are stacking up those trophies along the way.
