I want to give a big shout out to the Mithun Manatees for showing class and lots of sportsmanship during their inaugural season. They will be back and better than ever next season because they have the pieces in place to do so. After bowing out in an earlier game they stuck around just to play another game because of their love for softball. It was a great game that came down to the bottom of the 7th inning. They went down fighting hard and I look forward to seeing them develop as a team for the next few seasons. Great season Manatees!!
On Thursday night Michael batted 4 for 4 with 3 triples and a double. He also batted in 4 runs and scored 3 runs. His defense was equally impressive holding it down at first base and at short stop. Great game Michael.
