Wow, who is that AWESOME girl they call "Becs!" That's the best way to describe our Underdog Player of the Week. Becca Holtgeerts was an all out superstar this week. With her peppy attitude and constant team encouragement she really was a light on the court. She had tough serves, consistent passes, big hits, blocked like a wall, and sweet sets. She did it all with a smile on her face and maintained uplifting her team whether they were winning or losing. With high stakes going into the third game, being 1-1, you stayed in high spirits after the close game and walked out looking like a winner. Great job Becca!
This week's Player of the Week goes to Spencer from the 7th Man! This guy was on fire tonight. He had some of the hardest hits of the night. Kudos to his wonderful setters too. In the third game against Blockheads, Spencer's kills could not be stopped. People were in shock and awe with nearly every kill as many of them made it straight down to the floor. There was just not enough time to react to these hits of fury. This guy does it all though, with awesome serving runs, blocking, defense, and sweet sweet teamwork. Great work dog. Keep up the good work and happy Player of the Week!
