Amidst an alien invasion of Imperial Lanes, Earth send her #1 ranked Dirty Birds to bowl against the all alien team Snakes on a Lane.
However, Snakes on a Plane bowled out-of-this-world to capture the league title. They defeated the Dirty Birds 515-494.
Among the aliens we had Han Solo, an actual Space Invader (from the Atari game), a pink haired captain, and 2 metallic fiends direct from Mars.
Leading the way was Ryan. Ryan had a torn calf muscle (perhaps from a blaster?), painfully limped in his approach, yet gutted it out to help lead Snakes on a Lane to the championship.
Ryan really had a gutsy performance Monday night. Playing with a pronounced limp and wincing with virtually every bowl, Ryan played through the pain en route to ultimately winning the championship.
The pain of his torn calf muscle wasn't enough to dampen his spirits. In between turns he continued to laugh and carry on. He was also dressed in full space costume, complete with his head painted silver.
