Even without the team captain, Wade, 3 Holes to Stick it in managed to pull off the championship win tonight. They managed to score an exact 585 both games.
The first round of playoffs pitted 3 Holes against So Easy a Caveman Could Do It. The tension in the air was thick as these two impressive teams went head to head. The Cavemen took their loss in stride, stating that 3 Holes was a team not be taken lightly.
The final game of the playoffs had 3 Holes facing the fierce Time to Spare. It was a close game through every frame, and only as the final scores were hand calculated did a winner emerge. Time to Spare was in true form, exhibiting great sportsmanship and a continued enthusiasm for Underdog Bowling.
A round of applause to all teams in the playoffs. I suspect next season will be a real nail biter...
About the only noise you ever hear out of Wade is the thunderous "Kaboom!!" that echoes through the alley when he nails his trademark strike. Wade and his dedicated and skilled team entered this week with a perfect record. Sadness fell upon on the team when they lost the first game, but Wade stepped up as team captain.
It seems that tragedy brings out the best in a man. Wade pulled his team together and they rallied to win the second game and secure a spot in the playoffs. Prize coupons and high fives were flying amongst the team. The smell of victory was in the air and the huge grin on Wade's face let the entire alley know that his team is a force to be admired and feared.
Jeff Nelson helped his team off to a great start in week 1 of Sun Villa Big Turkey Bowling. His games of 141 and 196 put his team head and shoulders above the rest, and put 3 Holes To Stick It In on the right track for yet another championship. Can anyone stope these bowling beasts???? Stay tuned...
