Bosworth's Buddies are a team that's been with USL for years, and have competed with the best teams but always fell just short of the Crown, but this season they changed that. In two tough games their first one they had the offense clicking and were able to had Insight Global a loss 35 to 18 to move on to the chipper. Turtle Snaps were the next obstacle to the elusive Champ shirts this group have been chasing for years, and with the dream so close they went all out. The buddies jumped out to an early lead, and executed a very stingy defense only allowing the Snaps 12 points. The Turtle Snaps know how to score putting up 58 points in their semi, but the Buddies weren't going to be denied. The final tics of the clock expired and the Buddies left the field Champs with a 40 to 12 victory! Great season Bosworth's Buddies!
Charlie M. earns this weeks POTW for his huge contributions in the Championship run his team made. Charlie started the night off by destroying Insight Global's defense, reeling in team leading amount of catches, and his opponent could not stop him. Charlie continued his output in the Championship game and helped give his team the Crown and new Champ status. Great games Charlie!
As Bosworth's buddies were locked in a tight battle, Colin led the way to victory for his team. Whenever they needed a score, Colin came through in the clutch. He accounted for all 4 of his team's touchdowns as they held on for the 2 point victory. Great name Colin!
