While it was Kyle Erwin who hit what turned out to be the game-winning home run, it's Mike Whitt who gets to be the player of the week. Why is this? Well, Kyle nominated his teammate based on the fact that he was the first person on his team to pay his team fee. Seems to us that Mike's good deed should be rewarded with player of the week.
