First Place

Spring Co-ed Softball at Magnolia Sundays

On a perfect playoff day at West Queen Anne Playfield, Caught Looking proved that a team does not need a big lineup to rule the day. Playing with only 9 players, the team showed that a strong defense and timely hitting -- coupled with enthusiasm -- are all it takes to lead to victory.

In their first playoff game of the day, Caught Looking held their opponent to just 4 runs over 7 innings. They took the early lead after the 1st inning and never looked back. In the championship game, they needed their hitting to come alive and they delivered, busting out 16 runs. Once again, though, it was their defense that earned them the victory, with a game-saving assist from Blain in left field to nail the runner and seal the win.

Blain A has a perfect Opening Day!

Caught Looking takes a look at a Week 1 win!

Ahhhh, there's nothing like the Opening Day of Underdog Softball season in Seattle! And it wouldn't be Springtime in Seattle without a constant drizzle and a chance to play in the mud. Yep, a perfect Opening Day! Speaking of perfect Opening Days, nobody had a more perfect day than Blain A of Caught Looking. Blain was a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate including a deep 3 run homerun blast to lead his team to an 8-4 win! Not only that, but Blain flashed the leather on the final play of the game as he completely laid out on a diving catch in left field to rob the other team of any chance of a rally and added an exclamation point to Caught Looking's victory! Congratulations Blain A, week 1's Player of the Week!!!
