This week in the Gentleman's flag football league at Memorial Stadium the player of the week is Derrick Sundaravej of the Cannon Kings. It appeared the Cannon Kings' playoff hopes were over when they were down by 14 with 1:35 remaining, but Derrick rallied his team to score and then caught an interception and returned it for a touchdown to put his team up by 1 point and seal the victory over the Melon Ballers. Great job Derrick!
This week in the Gentleman's flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the Player of the Week is Brian Ervin of the Cannon Kings. With Brian at quarterback, the Cannon Kings' high powered offense was in full effect as usual, Brian throwing 8 touchdown passes, and also gaining two interceptions on defense. With the help of Brian the Kings consistently put up big numbers and make big plays, keep it up!
