If there was anyone on the field that desired a trip to the title game more than Zack they hid it very well. Nothing was going to stop Elvig in his pursuit of the title, especially not outfielders, as he drove the ball to the parking lot in three separate trips to the plate to lead his team to a win in the semi finals taking home player of the week along the way.
Late night double-headers can be draining. But don't tell that to Dan M from Contract Year. He was the epitome of hustle, as he constantly gave it his all, whether sliding and getting dirty to break up a double play or running down fly balls.
The best part was that he hustled with fun, playing hard and playing to win, but with a good attitude.
With a Cycle and multiple HR's Thomas Hutchinson AKA 'Hutch' wins Player of the Week helping his team Contract Year to a two win day. Hutch hit for the Cycle in the first win and then utilized his heavy bat again in the second game with more HR's.
