If every you needed proof that the playoff were the thing, you needed to look no further than Glory Hole's win over Grip it and Rip it in the DOTL playoffs. Grip It came in with a 20 stroke lead over the second place team, and thought that they could cruise to the title.
But the playoffs are winner take all, and Glory Hole took advantage, jumping out to an early lead, and hung on to claim a four-stroke victory over the regular season leader.
With no caddys on this course, sometimes it takes a week or two to fully master the tough course terrain...but not for Dan Carpenter of Glory Hole. Dan worked the course like a pro, making par look effortless. With teams like Glory Hole, wednesday nights are off to a great start this season!
