Holds Off Strangers Late Run

Well we have crowned a first time league champ and congratulations to FES. This team showed guts, energy, hustle and in the end it was the Red Machine that made all the plays that they had to. It's very rare that a first year team wins the league crown but this team is for real and I can see them dominating future USL leagues. They have all of the right pieces in place and they play their butts off. Congratulations again to FES and we look forward to seeing you guys in the next league soon.

Eric Stevens smashes Grand Slam in playoff win!

Flesh-Eating Sharks feast in a scoring frenzy!

In the final playoff game of the day it was the #2 seeded Mukilteo Graduates versus the #3 seeded Flesh-Eating Sharks to decide who advances and who goes home. After 3 hotly contested inning the Flesh-Eating Sharks trailed the Mukilteo Graduates by one run, but to start the 4th inning that's when Flesh-Eating Sharks decided to turn up the heat. Thanks to the Flesh-Eating Sharks' own Eric Stevens they were able to put up 6 big runs and put the game out of reach. Eric smashed a deep Grand Slam home run and later tacked on a nice bloop single to put the finishing touches on an impressive 19-14 victory as they also held off a late 7th inning rally by Mukilteo Graduates to advance to the final round of the playoffs next week! Congratulations to the Flesh-Eating Sharks and Eric Stevens, Player of the Week!!!

Flesh-Eating Sharks

This shark really dug in his teeth this week, ripping the flesh right off the baseball every time he was at the dish. He completed the cycle, one of the rarest of all softball feats, with ease still adding another bomb to his resume. It is for this outstanding performance that Steven wins player of the week.
