Much like the NBA, or the New England Patriots, our humble Drinks on the Links is on the verge of a Massive Cheating Scandal. After a team in another league turned in a combined score of 72 last week, we knew we could ignore it no longer.
So instead of sweeping it under the rug like Roger Goddell, or litigating our way out of it like David Stern, we are going to do the opposite. We are going to celebrate scores so high, there's no possible way the person in question could have cheated.
So here's to you, Lorenzo Saavedra of 3 Strokes, I'm Done, for your night high score of 64. Others came close, but nobody was more honest than you. Congrats.
