This weeks player of the week goes to ED Heymann! In the longest game of the day, one that went a couple of overtimes, came down to the play of Ed. Pulling off the victory with the score ending at 20 to 19, Ed helped his team with 2 TD's. His second came in the overtime, and after the TD he followed it with getting the PAT sealing the victory! Great job ED!
The sun was shining on Underdog Sports fans in the hot season opener this week in the Fall Co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays. The player of the week is David Batman of the Patriots, formerly Stormi's Troopers. In a fierce battle against the Drunken Misfits, David ultimately made the difference in the game, returning an interception for a touchdown allowing his team to post a win in the first week of the season by a score of 12-6. Great job David!
