With several game-changing defensive plays from their outfielders, and led by the bat of Austin Johnson, the PB Army defeated the Drunken Condors in a 10-7 title game match up that was surprisingly closer than the routs that led both squads to the championship.
Powering the PB Army with a combination of timely hitting and solid fielding, Austin Johnson led his team to the league championship victory over the Drunken Condors.
This weeks player of the week goes to Doug March!! He was the Player of the week! He played a great game in the only game that took place on this rainy day. Even though it was cloudy Doug's bat shinned like the sun, knocking in a bulk of the total runs his team scored in a close 6 to 5 game they won! With his batting perctage and RBI's his team was able to win on a sloppy field, and earn him player of the week!! Great job Doug!
This weeks player of the week goes to D Bergin!! With his great pitching only allowing 3 runs in the game, and his great batting as well! With a couple of singles he also had a triple that can be debated it would have been a home-run if he didn't run out of gas going into third-base. He played a great game, and is the first weeks player of the week!
