Sideout wins the championship match against Indy team, Just the Tips. Sideout has had an amazing season remaining in #1 position and was able to finish victoriously in their final game. Just the Tips also battled their way to the the final game, defeating C.R.A.S.S. in a nail-biting game with the longest rallies in the history of Underdog! Unfortunately, Sideout was too powerful and was able to maintain first place status. Congrats Sideout!
Chris is this week's POTW for not only doing great volleyball moves to keep the ball in play, but for also making amazing matrix-like moves to get the heck of the way! That's right, when Chris sees a ball flying towards his head that's out of bounds, he will do everything in his power to make sure he doesn't touch that ball! Great job Chris, both for your contact with the ball and for your contact with the floor! Good job!
Shayna had a great night and was a leader for her team. She stepped up in a big way with consistent hitting and setting. She played smart and hard, and helped her team come back from an 0-1 deficit to win the match! Great job, Shayna, keep it up!
Eric did an amazing job playing defense for his team with his amazing "wall-like" abilities at the net. Consistent, terrific blocking is not something that is often witnessed at Underdog volleyball, but Eric "hands of magic" Reid blocked the bah-geezies out of the ball and wouldn't let the other team through! Go Eric!
Brad did an awesome job this week helping his team defeat Jane's Naughty Monkey's 3-0. Brad had all around great play, but stole the show with ten straight serves is a row!!! Wowie! Great job Brad!
