Justin Slams First Home Run Of The Season
The South Park Cows have started the season off on the proverbial right foot and they are looking strong. On Sunday as a team they ripped off 29 runs in six innings and sending a clear message to all other teams that they are here and they are for real. Led by Justin who hit the team's first home run of the year they played with energy, alertness and just straight get after it-ness. Great win and great way to start your season off.

Catcher Makes First Appearance in Good Style
There were home runs hit at West Queen Anne playfield on Sunday. Sometimes, though, we stop to celebrate the small hits instead of the monster shots. Making her first appearance of the season, Valerie turned in a good game at catcher, playing all game behind the plate. Cheered on by her teammates, Valerie came to the plate and got a single in her second at bat...her first hit. While the hit did not go very far in distance, it did become a milestone.

Quinn's Walk Off Hit Seals Deal
The Flesh Eating Sharks are back to their winning ways. After coming off of a league championship they are still hungry and still playing softball at a very high level. It took Quinn's game winning walk off hit to knock off the Cows but all day long they got after it giving themselves a chance to win in the end. Great game Sharks.

Alex Keough Comes Up Big While Hurting
The Hooligans are back to their winning ways and were able to hold off a late surge by the Sharks on Sunday. Led by Alex Keough's inside the park HR while suffering from a torn knee ligamanent, they were able to put together a great 7th inning that proved too much for the Sharks to rebound from. Great pitching, great hitting and aggressive base running has put this team in the hunt for a title. With the playoffs fast approaching they look like the team to beat right now. Great win Hooligans.
