Fall Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

This week, Amanda redefined what it meant to be a "utility" player. Whenever her team reached a forced gender play, they confidently called on Amanda to give the ball a solid heave. Their confidence was merited, for Amanda threw multiple touchdowns on the day! Amanda even came in and threw for a score in a non-gender play, leaving this referee thoroughly impressed. For her superior quarterbacking play, Amanda is our player of the week.

What an amazing performance! Playing 2 players down, Caught Looking started fast and never let up, and a big reason was Violet P. She contributed a total of 5 TD's (3 receiving, 2 passing) and had 2 INTs on the defensive side of the ball. Even with 2 guys covering her, Violet split the defense and found herself wide open on numerous catches and showed off an incredible arm on gender plays. Congrats Violet!

Garrett M earns this week's Player of the Week award for his great contributions on offense, scoring 2 TD's to lead his team to the championship game in an incredible come-from-behind victory over Ain't As Good As I Once Was. Trailing most of the game, Garret and his team never quit, with Garrett ultimately catching the go-ahead (and game winning) TD with one minute left on the clock. The defense held, and Indy 23 marched it's way to the championship game. Congrats!
