This game was tough from the get go. Two competitive teams and two teams desperately wanting to prove they can hang with anyone in the league. Show Me Your TDs, led by their confident QB, came out their corner throwing rainmakers! A quick bomb to their speedy receiver and they were up six before I could get the whistle out of my mouth! Big Yac, cool, calm and collected, played their game. Led by their QB, Keith, they put together a drive but missed the PAT. The two trading scores in the first half and we knew it would come down to the wire. Show Me got a key interception and a score and it looked like they were going to pull away. However, Big Yac steadied themselves and dug in on defense. They came up with two big interceptions. The last one by Brian Lenz with time running under two minutes and the team down by a score. Using great clock management and their timeouts, the marched down the field for an unbelievable grab by Brian! Two seconds left and they scored! That was all she wrote. The next possession was a Hail Mary. No Doug Flutie Story here... Great game teams. Really competitive and really intense!
