In the closest game of the day, Mark Marzol hit a towering home run in the bottom of the 7th inning to lead the Beer Batters over the Ninja Turtles. Marzol's heroics followed a 6th inning rally by the Beer Batters to tie the game at 7-7. The Ninja Turtles had a chance to go ahead in their half of the 7th, but a runner was gunned down at the plate to end the inning. On the 2nd pitch of the bottom half of the frame, Morzol crushed a waist high ball into the frisbee field for the win. Great Job, Mark!

This weeks player of the week goes to the play of Megan Owen from Buntin' is A Habit! Megan played amazing in left field running down hits that covered multiple time-zones. She mad tough plays look easy, and showed "Bolt" like speed chasing down hits for outs. She also hit the ball well, and ran the bases with lightning speed! Great job Megan!

It was a gloomy Sunday afternoon. The clouds were out and it weather kept threatening to rain. That didn't stop Jason though. He showed up to play. He hit the call all over the place. He had two homeruns and reached each base. That's right, he hit for the cycle. Boy, I wonder if the Mariners will take him... I am sure it wouldn't hurt to give him a try.

This weeks player of the week goes to the efforts of Brendan Kelly and his performance at the plate. Brendan hit the ball great all day, but it was his shot in the bottom of the 7th that sealed the win for his team. With the bases loaded and 2 outs down by three runs, brandon turned hard on one with a little grunt as well. Brandon was able to hit the winning walk-off Grand-slam to help his team earn a hard fought win! Great job Brendan!
