Spring Co-ed Softball on Capitol Hill Saturdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Geneva of "Hit it and Forget About it". Geneva was on the DL all winter, or would have been if there were games to be played due to a bad back, but she made her return to the field noticed. At her first at bat in 2010 she hit a bomb in right field and touched them all also driving in 3 runs as well. Great job Geneva!

This weeks player of the week goes to Keith Brakebill for his outstanding performance both offensively and defensively, all while being ill! With a double header, Keith's team relied on him throwing strikes and making outs, which he did. He also had great hits in two close games and gave it his all while being aggressive on the bases to get into scoring position. He also made a couple of diving catches, and earned his team a couple of "W's". Great job keith!

CJ Johnston is this weeks player of the week after yet another great showing at short-stop. He clogged any hole on the left side of the field with excellent plays turning doubles and throwing base runners out left and right! He also did a great job hitting when they stayed between the foul-lines, maybe denting a car or two before hitting deep shots in play! Great job CJ!
