Serves You Right Steals The Win

Serves You Right won the Underdog Championship title for the Softcore Thursday League at Seattle Central. They played Thursday night in a double header of elimination to determine who gets to take home the gold. Serves you right is the strongest team I've seen in digs and blocks. The team is very consistent and serves hard and deep. They first played against Sets on The Beach, which was a very close game. Serves you Right really got it together and kept their fire up against them. The team also has great chemistry and knows how to play together really well. Every pass, set, and hit is carried out with great skill and determination.

Serves You Right and The Best Sets You Ever Had went head to head for the champ title. Both teams were very strong but Serves You Right really stepped up and pushed for the title. Serves You Right left the other team scrambling with great ball placement, killer blocks, back row/front row hits, and awesome defense. Serves You Right really knows their way around a volleyball court. The 3rd game of the match was the most intense part. Both teams had won one game but were struggling to keep their scores higher than each others. The game was so fierce that the time went into overtime just so we could determine who really won. Ultimately Serves You Right really served them what was coming and swept the champ title from under their feet. Congratulations Serves You Right, you guys are true Underdogs!

Night Court takes the Champ title

This last Thursday was the closing play off night for Seattle Central Thursdays Winter league. Night Court played and took home the Underdog Champ title for Midcore volleyball. Night Court really displayed a lot of endurance, skill, and sheer will power in the games that were played. The team first played against Dream Team in order to continue to the final round. Night Court stayed very consistent, active, and strong making the games against the opposing team not very difficult.

Put your f**king hair up and Night Court both made it to the finals and played each other for the champ title. This game was one of the most intense of the season. Put your f**king hair up is probably one of the strongest teams in the league offensively but were no much for Night Court's defense. Night Court is the scrappiest team I've seen so far and with a team that can return the ball like they do it's only a matter of time before the other team makes a mistake. Watching this game was very heart wrenching as both teams had the drive and skill but ultimately Night Court pushed for the win and received it. Awesome job guys, see you next season!
