Winter Gentlemen's Flag Football at Juanita HS Sundays

You might not think Defense is something focused on too much in flag football, as there are usually points a plenty to go around. Brady J and the Cobra Kai Dojo feel a little differently about that notion after narrowly defeating LOP by 2 points, thanks in large part to Brady and the defense at the end of the game. With LOP driving to score a potential debilitating TD, Brady jumped in front of a pass in the endzone to secure the INT and give his team the momentum it needed to taste the victory.

Kelly today took the reigns and ran with it... well passed it mostly. Knowing that the team would lose their Quarterback soon to a vacation in paradise the pressure fell on Kelly to run the offense! We all waited to see how this would play out but out of his first two passes came 8 points on the board. Amazed at what had happened Winslow Soldiered on. Kelly was hot, making most of his passes and throwing for 7 TDs and multiple extra points. He didn't do too bad on defense either with two picks and a few PBU's. Great job and good luck in your new position!

Let me introduce to you a Sterling, name is Jeff. Jeff is this week's POTW cause he likes to catch the pigskin, often. On offense Jeff racked up numerous catches between the goal-lines helping his team move up and down the field. This said Sterling also cashed in 4 TD's on the night. This Sterling didn't stop there though, he racked up a few more catches on defense. Jeff reeled in 3 INT's on defense helping his team advance in the playoffs, and put lots of ink in his stat book.
