Summer Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Fridays

This weeks player of the week goes to the defense of Megan soon to be Rarick. Megan gloved everything hit in her direction, and scoop every throw in the dirt around her. She made great defensive plays in a very tight game that ended 12 to 12. She also muscled a lot of hits deep to help her team get on the board with some runs. Great job Megan!

This weeks player of the the week goes to Laura Peterson and her great defense! In a tight game that ended 12 to 13, Laura helped her team get the "W" with outstanding defense. She had the right sided of the infield on lock down as she made out after out. It was her final play that earned her this weeks honors with a sweet game ending double play. Great job Laura!

This weeks player of the week goes to Stephanie Harwood for her outstanding defense at 3rd base. It was a tight game decided in the bottom of the 7th ending up 8 to 7 Mick Finster's Pub and Grill, a true nail biter. Stephanie put the left side on lock down with play after play, and amazing catches which was the difference in this tight match! Great job Stephanie, hope your teammates bought you a couple cold ones!

This weeks player of the week goes to Mark Brown and his great job on the mound pitching. He was able to curb a team with big bats, and hold them to 3 runs with great placement of his lobs. He had a solid "D" behind him, but he set up and knocked them down! Great job Mark!

This weeks player of the week goes to the excellent play of Jeff Beach who helped his team almost make the chipper. Jeff played an amazing 3rd base, and snagged everything hit his direction. He was a gold glove at 3rd, but also a machine at the plate. Jeff also hit for the cycle in a great game, and earned this weeks player of the week!
