In the bottom of the 7th inning and down one run with 2 outs and 3 on,Afternoon Delight's Nick De Marc calmly steps into the batters box and on one pitch delivers a 3 run crush to end the game. Awesome display of confidence after having a not so hot day at the plate prior.

This weeks player of the week goes to Scott Williams for his great job on the mound, pitching a gem. In a tight game he was able to help his team record outs and keep the lead on his side. He also had a great day at the plate hitting 3 for 3 with a homer along with a couple of triples, keeping the activity on the bases high! Great job Scott!

Thirsty Turtles
Heather was an absolute monster on defense this week. Playing left field nothing got by her while she help hold teams to singles and in double play position all game long. She also batted great going 6 for 8 during the day and leading the Thirsty Turtles to two hard fought wins. Kudos to Heather.

They Might Be Giants
With cricket as his favorite game growing up, Ushah has decided to take up softball in the Underdog Sports league. Sunday night with his team down by one run and with 3 runners on, he stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning and delivered a deep bomb to left field to end the game against the 206ers. This is the first Walk Off home run of his young softball career and I am sure that we will see more in the seasons to come. Hats off the Ushah!!
