Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

Fred gets opening player of the week for his steady performance on offense and defense against a talented Tenacious D team. Though their opponent has a fitting name, Fred made short work of their defense in the second half throwing three TD's after halftime, he had a total of 4. On the other side of the ball, Fred was outstanding patrolling the deep part of the completely shutting down the deep ball. Congrats Fred!

Katie Bowler gets player of the week this week for her stellar work on defense. It seemed like every pass in her zone found it self bouncing on the ground incomplete. She was in the zone all night reading the QB's eyes and stepping in front of the pass to knock it down. On top of her great work on defense she also caught a touchdown pass. Congrats Katie!

Ted Wegrich gets player of the week for his game sealing interception during his team's semi-final playoff game against Morally Ambiguous. After going up by two scores early, No Punt Intended came up short on a few drive and Morally Ambiguous took advantage, pulling within one score. Half way through the second half Morally Ambiguous was on the doorstep and looking to pull within two points of the lead. Ted had other plans. On a third and goal, the QB tossed it to what looked like a wide open receiver. However, Ted jumped the pass perfectly intercepting it and almost returned it for a TD all but sealing the victory for his team!
