Late Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

Our player of the week is being recognized for his "no quit, just hit" attitude. Even after taking a gnarly fall diving for a ball, his positive energy did not falter. After a short break from the game, and a seemingly life-altering run in with some icy hot, he got back out on the court, hardly skipping a beat. His upbeat persona and a game played with a diligence to be rivaled, really stuck out this week. We are so happy to see that what a few weeks ago was a group of strangers, is now turning into a team of friends. Great game today, see you next week!

Hank is an amazing person and volleyball player. His net game is ridiculous, Hank constantly lingers around the net trying to catch any ball that bellies it's way over his side. He is always slapping the down immediately like Serena Williams playing front row for tennis. His plays and banter go hand in hand. Hank's jokes go just as deep as his hits and serves, pushing everyone's boundaries and causing a ruckus. Tonight he played diligently and strongly with only one other teammate. Hank is a teammate you want and need to have. Great job this season and tonight Hank. I hope to see you chillin' at the beach every week this next season.
