Blue Nile jumped out to an early 4 - 0 lead with a 2-run double and then it got wild with Indeed throwing the ball around leading to 2 more runs coming in. Indeed seemed to get back into shape in the 2nd with an RKI double and a big DP on defense. It was a close 5 - 2 game entering the 5th inning when Blue Nile came alive. They quickly loaded the bases for Nick who blasted a shot over everyone for a Grand Slam. They continued to pile on the runs in the 6th inning as well with 2 home run kicks for another 5 runs and a sac fly to extend their lead to 15 runs. Defensively, Blue Nile made all the plays and had few mistakes which is usually the key to winning the championship and it proved to be true today.
