New Kicks had a long and testy season this go around. They spent most of the season changing strategy, working through the rules, and learning the game. Through many trials and tribulations they soon came together and when it was playoff time they were ready. With a devotion to having fun there was no stopping this team. New Kicks took every game like a school yard recess and kicked away at the ball. It didn't take long in the championship game for this fun loving team to take the lead. They took control and never let it go! Great job New Kicks.

What a showdown. There was no way that this game wouldn't end in a Cinderella story! The 8 seed and the 9 seed faced off today in a duel comeback story that they make movies out of. Making Kickball faced off against BFT in a strong game of defense. They held BFT to only sac flys in the first two innings while they pushed the score up with aggressive base running. By the end of the 4th all scoring was done! From then on it was a strong defensive game. Make Kickball locked down the well placed bunts from BFT in the infield and nothing could get by the outfield. Every pop up was an instant out and no more that was base slipped by them on a hit! Make Kickball Great Again did just that with a great game against the seasoned BFT. Great game and well deserved Championship!

What an emotional game we had today. Scott and Friends fought off the very skilled Hold my Kicks is a drag out match. Scott and Friends took an early lead in the first inning. Hold my kicks answered quickly in the 2nd, and so it began! Every point that the Friends scored was answered right back in the top. This match seemed like it was going to be back and forth all night. Every kick, every bunt, and every run was matched. Then Finally in the 5th Scott and Friends took a strong lead. Then in the top of the 6th the defense showed. They had three kickers come up and three outs go down. With the finally inning starting Scott and Friends put two more across the plate and went into the bottom of the final inning with a cushion. Hold my Kicks didn't go easily into the night, they loaded up the bases with only one out. All it would take is one good kick and the championship would be up for grabs, but don't count out the underdogs yet! Scott and Friends came together and Finished off their opponents in just two kicks, ending the game and sealing the deal! Great game Friends, we look forward to the rematch!
