The Seattle Seattle Mariners had an exciting path to their championship title. Their game against the South Park Cows was a back and forth affair. In an offensive slugfest, the Cows jumped out to a 18-13 lead after 3 innings. The S. S. Mariners wouldn't go away though and after blanking the Cows in the top of the 4th, the Mariners scored 7 runs in the bottom half to take a 20-18 lead. The lead swapped hands after the next 3 half-innings going into the bottom of the 7th. The Mariners were down by 3 runs but never gave up. After pulling to within 1 run, Ashleigh stepped up to the plate and came up clutch. She ripped the cover off the ball to tie the game and then came around to score later in the inning for the winning run!

The M's showed up ready to play today. They had a great all around performance in their semifinal game against the top seeded Smoldering Remains. The M's put up 20 runs, including 9 in the 7th, and held Smoldering Remains to just 3 runs behind some great team defense, including a great catch by Ian at 3rd base. In the final, things started well with 3 runs in the first but the offense got bogged down over the next couple innings. But despite some adversity, the M's came alive for 5 runs in the 4th and 3 in the 5th to put the game away and win 11-6!
