There were so many Turkeys tonight, it may as well have been Thanksgiving at Sun Villa Lanes!!!

I thought I had my POTW decided when I awarded Nathan from "No F in Strikes" his second turkey in game 1...

until Eric from "North City Lounge Thirsty Turtles" came to me in game 2 with his second turkey....

Well the decision became very clear toward the end of the night, when Jake from "Bowl Movement" approached me to receive a prize ticket for his THIRD turkey of the night....not to mention that it was on a 5 strike run, and #8 in the game....ending with a whopping 256!!!!!

Thanks Jake, you made my choice so much easier!!!
Awesome rolling tonight, can't wait to see what next week brings!!!

It was The Village People meet Bullwinkle, heading to Mexico or Mardi Gras (or something like that)!!!

Joey, Captain Hermano was the construction worker, only he insisted on being the extra sexy costruction worker, so he added a feather boa!!! Not sure it helped his bowling, but he did okay, bowling a 128 and a 116 with 5 strikes and 5 spares for the night.

He was joined by Matt the Mexican, Kevin, the Indian and Ashley, aka Bullwinkle (tonight was her Village People debut!)

Way to go "Livin' on a Spare"...Love the spirit!!

A. very special shoutout tonight to John, the roving sub, with a league-wide high score of 202!!!

Almost perfect....
Though Jake from "Bowl Movement" gave him some stiff competition, it was Jason from "Lane Rangers" who pulled out on top tonight and earned Player of the Week.

As I watched the scoreboard, and saw almost all \'s and X's, I knew! Jason hit every frame tonight with either a spare, a strike or a 9....ending game one with a 208. Pretty good rolling!!!

Make sure to bring that same "A" game next week!!!

If it was to be determined by Game 1, the Player of the Week would have been Nathan from "No F in Strikes", with 7 X's and final score of 226

....or it easily could have been Daniel from "Big LeBOWLskis" with 8 X's and a final score of 220.

Since it was so close, I decided to wait it out and see what game 2 brought...believe it or not, it introduced a third competitor who came in and swooped up the award.

Eric from "North City Lounge Thirsty Turtles" bowled a 190 in game 1 with no open frames, not quite as high as Daniel or Nathan, but when combined with his 213 in game 2 (again with no open frames), he had the high score for the night at 403.

Way to go to all 3 of you tonight, it was a very close call. Coming in second with 390 overall was Nathan, and Daniel was not far behind with a 376.

Sporting the Shutter Shades tonight must have helped Kevin's game!!! After taking a week off, he was back with a vengeance!!

Kevin bowled continuous X's in the first 4 frames of the night, which earned him a Turkey and a celebratory round of tequila shots for the team!! Not too far behind him, his buddy bowled a turkey which earned them another round!!

Despite the fact that Kevin told me the tequila killed him, his scores tell me otherwise.

Kevin you bowled amazing tonight, 7 X's and 8 /'s total, and scores of 198 and 150. Maybe tequila is your magic fuel!!!! Way to go!
