The team that is Chix & Stix 2.0 opened the season up with 45 runs worth of pure offense over two games. That's averaging 22 runs per game meaning that they can light up a score board quickly. This team is balanced from top to bottom and their hustle and energy is unmatched. They are playing like they want to take on an MLB team and the way things look right now they would probably hold their own. With Cody being the defensive master at 3rd base and Michael powering the offense, this team is going to be really hard to handle and look forward to taking on all comers. I look forward to seeing you guys again in action next week. Great first win!!

Lots of Firepower and a "whole lotta" Defense
The DMs are the new kids on the block but they are playing like they have been in the league 6 or 7 seasons, This team is balanced from top to bottom like a fine European luxury sedan and their energy is through the roof. They knocked off power house Seawalks on Sunday giving them all they could handle and then some. The affair was tight throughout the night with both teams flexing their muscles as they went back and forth trading shots. End the in it took a last inning inside the park home run to seal the deal for the DMs. Great win for the DMs and we look forward to seeing you guys in action again next week.

The Brew Crew are finally putting it all together and are staring to look like a shoe in for a shot at the league title. What impresses me most about this team is that they just have fun. It shows in their performance and the way they go about their business. Their bats are strong and their defense and pitching are definitely up to par. Although there are stronger teams in the league I would not count this team out. Great game guys and gals.

DMs Looking Strong as Playoffs Approach
Lauren's Gold Glove Performance Sparks Team
The DMs are looking very dangerous right now and based on what they did on Sunday, they are definitely in the conversation for a league title. Led by Lauren's Gold Glove effort, the DMs socked it to Hillbillies and they looked great doing it. Their defense is lights out and their bats are very hot right now. They will face some stiff competition in the weeks to come and I think that they can definitely hold their own when the lights are shining the brightest. Chix and Stix lost a close game a couple of weeks ago and they were very salty over the loss. The last two weeks they have been on absolute fire and looking like the team to beat as the playoffs approach. Their pitching is stellar, their bats are starting to come on line and their hustle is unmatched, period. In a very tough league, this team can more than hold their own and they will be tested in the weeks to come. Led by Casey's lights out power this team is looking to mix it up with anybody. When they have everyone on deck they are as dangerous as they come. Great game guys and gals and we look forward to seeing you in the playoffs.

Defense Holds Late
Well, we have crowned the DM's as league champions, their first in many to come if they should stay together. This team is special from top to bottom and all they do is hustle and have fun. On Sunday they held off perienial powerhouse Chix and Sticks with a defensive showing that was one for the ages. Led by Kendall Sahl's hot bat and Gold Glove play this team was destined for a title. Congratulations for your first league title and we look forward to seeing you again in action in the Spring.
