The Slumbusters had two hard games today to take the gold! They first faced the Soldiers who but up a battle worth recognition. They fought Valiantly score for score through both halves! the score came down to who made the PAT's. With 2 seconds left the Soldiers were on the goal line. 4th and goal! This play would put one of the two into the championship game! The Busters put pressure and a throw had to be made through a pickle jar tight defense! The ball went up..... and then down to the ground! The busters were in the championship. They soured from there. With fresh legs after a break and momentum from the first game they took control in the first half and never let go! With a grand total of about 5 dropped balls their offense dominated all the way to victory!! Great Season Slumbusters!!
