Candice hasn't been on a volleyball court in 6 years, but you wouldn't have known it while watching her game. Her hits were huge, her digs were low and she was hustling all over the court. Candice is a born natural and I look forward to watching her kick even more butt in the future.

This was week 1 of Bump, Set, Yikes'! new plan of running a 6-2 offense and obviously it worked out pretty well. While there were definitely confusing times and messed up rotations, the clan banded together and were determined to make it work. I look forward to seeing what the future hold for the team and how much more they will dominate with their new plan. Good luck!!

Jess was on fire with her serves tonight. Multiple times when Jess made it to the back line, she served up a storm of points to pull her team ahead in the game. On top of that, Jess was scrappy as always and was swinging big at the net.

Tonight Andrew was using his brain and skills in the front line. Many times he was faced with a big blocker and instead of smashing it he chipped the ball over or around the block resulting in a kill. On the other side of the game, Andrew put up his own big block stopping many of his opponents attacks dead in their path.

Jenna was all around awesome tonight. I think she even surprised herself sometimes with the outcome of her attacks. On top of executing the fundamentals of the game, Jenna was also a cheerleader on her team. She was handing out high fives left and right and was always getting excited when a teammate did something great.
