Fall Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Saturdays

It was another memorable Saturday for Rich Getto of Justice League, as he took the reigns at QB and led his team in a variety of ways. While three interceptions on defense were enough for a POTW nomination, it was his Cam Newton like versatility on offense that won him the honors. Rich threw for four touchdowns, and ran for two more, leading Justice League to a resounding victory in Week 1.

Caitlin Dean is quickly developing a reputation for being a major factor for the Auto Battery and Po' Dogs. Saturday afternoon, Caitlin put on a pass catching exhibition by hauling in 10 recieptions for 140 yards, and two touchdowns. Comparisons to Calvin Johnson were being thrown around by onlookers. And if that wasn't enough, she intercepted a pass on defense, leading the way to a 54-26 victory in Week 3.

While the Statdog doesn't keep records as closely as the Elias Sports Bureau, he's pretty sure the 72-54 shootout this past Saturday is the highest scoring game in Underdog Sports Leagues Football history.

One woman stood above all, as Lissa Pak was honored with the Player of the Game, and thus Player of the Week, by virtue of her key catches throughout the contest, helping Blood, Sweat, and Beers keep their distance from SBC Mother Packers. She also had a key touchdown in the win.

This weeks player of the week goes to Tanner C. for his big catch on a big day. Tanner turned another year older on playoff Saturday, and made the most of it scoring big. With a game that ended 24 to 22, Tanner's late game TD reception won the game, and advanced his team closer to the chipper. Happy birthday Tanner and great game for you and your squad!
