Fall Co-ed Dodgeball at Wallingford Boys & Girls Club Thursdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Greta Hutchinson for her stellar play, and team leading skills on the floor. Greta played with tenacity as she made out after out, making great chatches, and rifle throws. Greta was a tough opponent to get out, and impressed onlookers as well as her opponents. She helped her team get a win along with a tie, moving her team up in the rankings! Great job Greta.

Candy was too SWEET on the court tonight. Her first game she help her team cruise to an esy win 9-0 by making several catches and key throws to get the other team out. In the second game she steped her play up event more helping her team win 4-2. During one game she lead her team to a 3 on 1 comeback win. Great job Candy, keep it up!!

This weeks player of the week goes to Sarah Powell and her unorthodox catching ability. While in the final game of the night it was Sarah alone on the floor facing down a fierce competitor and it was looking grim. After a few hard throws in both directions Sarah had enough and put her opponent down. Sarah's opponent wound up, and fired a nice low shot in her direction that silenced both sidelines. When everyone realized what happened Sarah was standing on her toes to keep the ball that she caught with her ankles off the floor for a legit catch and out for a win! Great catch Sarah, that earns you player of the week! Let see you try that catch again!
