A Duck, A Goat, A Sheep, Oh My!
A Chick, A Cow and A Horse, Oh My!

Misfit Toys came in spirit of the farm tonight and it was the horse that led the pack!!

Andrew bowled to amaze tonight scoring a 183 and a 142. Not sure that he knew it, but he bowled a perfect game tonight ...10 strikes!! (Too bad they weren't all in the same game!!!)

With 7 strikes in game 1 and 3 more in game 2, I was in shock that he only earned 1 turkey amongst them all. What a night, Congrats Andrew!!

Watch Out PBA!
Watch Out PBA!
This weeks player of the week goes to Anna from Clown Balls and her 52 pin improvement from game one to game two. She helped her team seal up 4 points, and improved her game substantially. At this rate of improvement she will be bowling on the ocho, and quitting her day job! Great job Anna on a great second game!

Jones Soda
Phil be nimble, Phil be quick, Phil knocked over all the bowling sticks!!

Jones Soda called Phil in to fill in (pun intended); being a first-time bowler the team didn't have the greatest of expectations, but Phil broke 100 on his first night ever bowling!! Jones Soda was bowled over by his skills, and we no doubt will be seeing him at the lanes next week. Phil, congrats on your 118!!!

Brian Twehues has an "EXPLOSIVE" night!
Set 'Em Up, Knock 'Em Down
Brian came with his A-game on Wednesday while his team cheered him on. He showed off his "explosive" throw frame after frame. Maybe he had too much birthday cake...? Or maybe he was so distraught over turning the big three-oh that his adrenaline kicked in overtime? Whatever the cause, his four strikes and eight spares for the night made for a memorable birthday event. Great game Brian, and happy birthday!

Terry got his groove back!
Terry got his groove back!
Clown Balls
He tried to spin, he tried to curve...then he just gave up. On Wednesday night, Terry finally gave up trying to be a hotshot, and he "went back to his roots." He used the ball he knew, and brought his bowling skills back to their original glory! This Canadian Cook bowled a 145 and 126 to help bring Clown Balls a victory over Stranger Danger this week. Keep that groove flowing Terry!

Theme Night - Fat Tuesday
PLAYOFFS View Bracket
Playoff Date 11/9
4 Teams Advance, All Teams Bowl!!!
After weeks and weeks of nail-biting anticipation, the championship night finally arrived at Fall Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Lanes this past Wednesday night. Even though there was beer, fat Tuesday masks and beads, and even chocolate cake being passed around the lanes, there were four teams that came to play and win. But only one team could walk away as the victorious champs.

Poppycocks and Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down went head to head while Clown Balls took on Misfit Toys in the first round of the championship games. Clown Balls got off to a rocky start, and their shiny Mardi Gras beads seemed to be more of a hindrance than a help. Abbey (also known as Count Chocula) with Misfit Toys bowled an impressive 141 to lead her team to the championship game (along with Tony Tiger/Annie’s 104, Frankenberry/David’s 118 and Magically Delicious/Jon’s 115…why am I craving Fruit Loops all of a sudden?) while the Clown Balls hung their heads in defeat and ordered another round of pitchers to ease the pain. SEUKED went in with high hopes against the infamous Poppycocks; they knew it would be a tough match-up! But SEUKED brought their A-game! The fabulous Mike emerged as the team leader with a score of 168; Brian was right behind him at 156. Combined with 116 from both Lauren AND Robin, Set ‘Em Up upset the Poppycocks to make it to the final round!

Tension was high between SEUKED and Misfit Toys; we would have cut the tension with a knife except that we needed it to cut Daniel’s (from There’s No I In Bowling) birthday cake. Abbey (Count Chocula) again pulled through for her team with a score of 160 (seven spares and a strike! Incredible!); John (Toucan Sam) tried to keep up at 139 by nailing five spares in a row to start the game off; but the sugar-high from their cereal just wasn’t enough. SEUKED at a team managed to grab 15 strikes and 21 spares!! They were on fire, with Anna scoring 113, Lauren pulling off 148, Brian coming in strong with 183, and the Fabulous Mike carrying the team with a score of 196! They’ve deemed themselves ready for the PGA as they walked away the League Champions! Congratulations Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down!!
